Privacy Statement
Last updated: 8 October 2026
ParkingPro takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This statement explains which data we process, for what purpose and on which legal basis, and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who are we?
ParkingPro operates all-in-one parking management software and supplies the corresponding hardware, from offices in Hilversum and Wijchen (the Netherlands) and Valencia (Spain). ParkingPro is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 64368521 and has VAT identification number NL855637080B01. For privacy questions, contact us at support@parkingpro.eu.
2. Which data do we process?
Depending on your relationship with us, we process:
- Contact and business details of business relations, such as name, role, email address, phone number and company name.
- Account details of platform users, such as credentials, settings and language preferences.
- Parking and transaction data generated through our software, such as licence plate data, reservations, duration and payment data.
- Website visitor data, such as page and usage data.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data for the performance of our agreements (delivering, invoicing and supporting software and hardware), for our legitimate interests such as securing and improving our services and maintaining business relations, and — where you have explicitly asked for it, for example for newsletters — based on your consent. Where statutory obligations apply, such as fiscal record-keeping duties, we process certain data on the basis of a legal obligation.
4. Processing on behalf of our customers
When parking operators use our platform, we process data of parkers on behalf of that operator. In those cases ParkingPro acts as processor and the operator as controller; the operator is the point of contact for your rights. With our customers we conclude a processor agreement in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
5. Retention periods
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was obtained. Financial and administrative records are kept in line with the Dutch statutory retention period of seven years; other data we keep only as long as necessary for the relationship or until you request erasure.
6. Sharing with third parties
We only share personal data with processors that support our services, such as hosting parties within the European Union, payment processors and email service providers, and only where necessary. We have concluded processor agreements with all of these parties. Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area without appropriate safeguards.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your data, including encrypted traffic (TLS), role-based access control, logging and periodic maintenance of our systems.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. Send your request to support@parkingpro.eu; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Cookies
Our website places functional and analytical cookies to keep the site working properly and to measure usage. For non-functional cookies, such as third-party marketing cookies, we ask for your consent.
10. Changes
We may amend this statement, for example following new legislation or new services. The most recent version is always available on this page.
